Warranty & Return Policy
We stand behind the quality of our installations and the products we supply. Please review our comprehensive policies below regarding returns, warranties, and service guarantees.
1. Return Policy
At Truvo, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your security deployment. However, due to the sensitive nature of security hardware and software, our return policy is strictly governed by the following conditions:
1.1 Standard Return Window
Products may be returned within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery or installation completion. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original, factory-sealed packaging with all accessories and manuals included.
1.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following items and services are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Custom-configured systems or personalized hardware.
- Software licenses, digital subscriptions, or cloud storage plans once activated.
- Cut cables, conduits, and consumable installation materials.
- Labor, site-assessment fees, and installation charges once work has commenced.
1.3 Restocking Fees
All approved returns that are not due to an out-of-box defect or Truvo error will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. This fee covers diagnostic testing, repackaging, and administrative processing.
2. Warranty & Disclaimers
Truvo acts as an authorized integration partner for global security brands. The primary hardware warranties are provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
2.1 Hardware OEM Warranty
Hardware defects are covered under the respective OEM's warranty policy (typically 1 to 3 years depending on the brand and model). Truvo will assist customers in facilitating RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) claims with the manufacturer, provided the equipment was purchased directly through Truvo.
2.2 Truvo Installation Warranty
Truvo provides a 1-Year Workmanship Guarantee on all physical installations performed by our certified engineers. This warranty covers issues directly related to the physical mounting, wiring, and initial configuration of the system. It does not cover hardware failure, software bugs, or network-related connectivity issues caused by third-party ISPs or routers.
2.3 Conditions That Void Warranty
All warranties (both OEM and Truvo's Installation Guarantee) will be immediately voided under the following circumstances:
- Unauthorized tampering, relocation, or repairs performed by third parties or the customer.
- Damage caused by power surges, improper voltage supply, or failure to use recommended UPS systems.
- Acts of God, including but not limited to lightning strikes, floods, fires, or extreme weather conditions.
- Physical abuse, vandalism, or improper maintenance.
3. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Truvo, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the provided security systems.
Security systems are designed to deter and record incidents; they do not guarantee the prevention of theft, property damage, or personal injury. Truvo's maximum cumulative liability for any claims arising out of or related to the products or services provided shall be strictly limited to the total purchase price paid by the customer for the specific product or service in question.
